Eimskip Islands ehf, a leading and growing shipping company, operating in the entire North
Atlantic, has bought two preowned Gottwald Model 7 mobile harbour cranes. One will operate at
the Eimskip New Foundland Terminal in Argentia, Canada, the other at the Sundahófn Terminal in
Reykjavik.
In a strong joint effort with US company Pacific Handling Systems, Port-Trade brokered the sale of
the cranes on behalf of the previous owners in San Juan.
Port-Trade has provided service support to Eimskip since many years and of course also
supported Eimskip in the acquisition of the cranes and perhaps even more importantly, also
provided strong support after the cranes were relocated to Argentia and Reykjavik respectively.
