Hofor E-Crane

The 10 tons capacity E-Crane material handler serves vessels up to Panamax size. The crane will
handle coal and biofuels for the power generating plant Amagerværket in the city of Copenhagen.
It took E-Crane 6 months to build the crane, which is mounted on a high and wide, special rail
bound gantry. Assembly, testing and commissioning at the very narrow quay site took another 2
months. After training the crane operators and following a successful handover, the crane is now
operational and performance exceeds expectations.
