Repeat orders for MRS grabs to Danmark, Sweden and Finland.
Port-Trade has delivered new grabs to customers in the Nordic area:Vattenfall’s Enstedværket took delivery of a 25 m3 4-rope grab for handling coal with their Kone grab unloader.
The port receives coal in Panamax size vessels and also serves as a distribution hub to other power stations in the region.
Åhus Hamn in the south of Sweden bought a new 5,5 m3 closed grab for handling a variety of bulk materials like feedstuffs, fertilizer and salt.
DONG Power plant at Esbjerg ordered another two 13m3 closed grabs for handling coal with their grab unloader, following excellent experience with previous MRS deliveries.
The Finnish Port of Kokkola took delivery of an 8m3 MRS 4-rope grab for handling limestone.
It is the fifth MRS grab delivered by Port-Trade to this customer.
Port of Grenaa acquired a 11,5m3 electro-hydraulic orange peel grab for handling a variety of scrap materials.
STENA Recycling operates a large scrap processing facility at Port of Grenaa, making use of the Port’s crane equipment for loading and unloading vessels.

New Stormajor Boom Feeder on crawlers, by Samson Materials Handling
Suitable for handling ore, sand, aggregates, coal, wood pellets etc. The new, Samson Stormajor BF0415T is built on tracks and designed to receive bulk aggregates with densities up to 1,6 t/m3, directly from lorries and dump trucks, providing a regulated output of up to 625m3/h to a processing plant, stack or vessel.
Transportable by low bed trailer, the machine can be moved quickly to another site, where it can be mobilized within 4 hours. The boom fits neatly in a 40’ open top container.
With a 15m or 20m luffing (2-25°) outloading boom, the machine can also be used for loading train waggons etc.
For stacking, the 120° slewing capability of the 20m boom enables a stockpile of 7.000 m3 from a single position.
